An accomplished Chartered Manager and Safety Compliance Specialist, David's career spans more than 30 years across diverse environments, including military, facilities management, and fostering inclusive communities in sports and recreation.

Starting on the shop floor in the early '90s, David climbed the corporate ladder, learning first-hand the value of resilience, hard work, and the human side of leadership, principles that have shaped his journey as a Chartered Manager and Management Mentor.

David continues to advance thought leadership in this area by providing insights, mentoring, and workshops that empower organisations to build resilient, high-performing teams.

Currently, David proudly serves as Vice-Chair of the Ireland Branch of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and Northern Ireland’s representative on its global committee, David champions leadership-driven safety practices.

His work focuses on raising awareness, addressing leadership risks, and mentoring managers to build a stronger safety culture in the building services industry. By integrating his six pillars of leadership—Communication, Decision Making, Accountability, Consistency, Adaptability, and Emotional Intelligence—he helps managers move beyond compliance to create safer, more resilient workplaces that drive long-term success.​
